The jungle carpet python is a slender boid which is generally black with yellow to cream bands/blotches which give it an interesting colouration. Do a search on google images for them.

 

Locality

Atherton Tablelands and select parts of Queensland.

 

Adult size

Roughly 5ft.

 

Approx lifespan

15years+.

 

REcomended vivarium size

4x3x2ft.

 

Basic set up type

Rainforest, humidity and excellent ventilation are both required. Use thick sturdy branches to create perches, provide hides at both ground level and further up the vivarium.

 

Diet

The diet of the Jungle Carpet Python should be made up of rodents.
